This kinetic prayer is one suggested response to reading Joshua 3-4 in our Large Group Event on the Practice of Worship. 

Materials Needed

• Flat stones (I have purchased “painting rocks” on Amazon)
• Acrylic paint pens

Instructions

• Choose a stone.
• As you hold it in your hand, feeling the weight of it, consider who God is to you. Remember the ways He has been faithful in your life. Talk to him about it.
• Write a word and/or draw a picture on the stone that reflects your prayer, a reminder to yourself of who God is and what He has done for you. Here are some suggested words:
  • Faith
  • Hope
  • Trust
  • Remember
  • Praise
  • Thank You
• Take the stone home and keep it as a reminder to trust, praise, and thank God.
