2. Using the template on the next page, trace and cut out several construction paper feathers.
3. On each feather, write or draw a truth about God, like Hallie did in the story. For example, one might say “holy”, another “worthy,” “beautiful,” or “good.” Or names of God: “Giver of Life”, “King,” “Creator.” What other attributes and names for God can you think of?
4. As you create and look at the feathers, focus on God’s character and names, and reflect on how every feathered bird sings and worships God as it flies high in the sky. Talk to God about each name or attribute, saying “I praise you God, for you are ____.” Or tell him what the name/attribute means to you.
5. Put the feathers together, either gluing them to a piece of construction paper (maybe in the form of a bird), or stringing them up with string or wire to make a mobile. Hang your feathers somewhere you will see them on a regular basis.
6. Every time you walk by your feather artwork, read one of the names or attributes and praise God for who he is!
