Person 1:
King David in trouble,
to God he cried,
“Hear my prayer, O Lord.
Answer my plea from on high!”

Person 2:
Daniel in danger,
he knelt in the den.
“My God, deliver me,”
he prayed again and again.

Person 3:
Jesus, our Savior,
taught us to pray,
“Our Father in heaven.”
He showed us the way.

Together:
With thankful hearts, Lord,
for blessings untold,
we open our minds
and stories unfold.
