Work on this treasure hunt together around a table. You may wish to make it a competition or work together collaboratively. We suggest using this as part of our Large Group Event on Prayer.
Clues
Can you find the prayer Jesus taught the disciples to pray? Take a look in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 6. Read verses 1-15 aloud so you’ll be ready for a treasure hunt! (Note: the word search uses the NIV translation of the Bible.) Score 1 point for each correct word + 2 points for each BONUS response:

- See if you can figure out why the prayer says “AS” – what do you think it is like for us to forgive others as much as God forgives us? Is that fair? (hint: read verses 14-15 again)
- And _ _ _ _ us _ _ _ into temptation, but deliver us from _ _ _ _ .
BONUS:
- Can you figure out some temptations that may lead us to evil?
