Illustrator and arts educator

Becky is an illustrator and arts educator located in Seattle, Washington. Her current practice focuses on children’s illustration, portraiture, and the creation of craft experiences. She originally fell in love with painting, but over the years has enjoyed experimenting with found-object illustration, short animations, and crafting. Becky enjoys the visual surprises that come with experimenting in new techniques and media. 

Becky received an MFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design and currently teaches art at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. She also collaborates with the Seattle Symphony and San Diego Symphony to create illustrations for their family concerts as well as designing craft experiences that connect with the themes of each concert. 

Becky’s hope is to use arts and crafts to bring joy to our world.
