5-Week Group Curriculum on Worship

This 5-week curriculum is part of Imagining Worship with Kids’ monthly focus plan for Worship, and coordinates with the provided weekly themes, service plans, and family worship resources. The full monthly focus plan can be found in our At Church Magazine.

The intention of this curriculum is to help groups and classes of all ages learn what the practice of worship is, and how to worship God together. For each week, you’ll find a scripture lesson and various activities around the weekly theme, along with suggestions for how to work with this curriculum in your timeframe and setting. We have provided the lesson plan outlines in Google Doc form, so that you can copy and edit them as needed.

Verse and Song of the Month

For each practice, we suggest a verse and song of the month to work on together. We give suggestions for how to interact with these each week in the curriculum.

Verse for Worship: John 4:23 (use your preferred translation)
Song for Worship: Santo, Holy (Listen on YouTube) (Lead Sheet) (Explore, Embody, and Express-EEE)
